Since 1990, Crystal has been writing songs in one form or another.

There are times in people’s lives where they just want to get away,

Fast forward through many years of piano lessons, self taught guitar (ok, help from Rob McCleery), singing lessons, and stints with some cool bands… and now there’s Crystal Joy.
She’s played on stages from Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA to Paradise Rock Club in Allston, MA. Her talents and music span multiple genres and venues.
The projects she works on now pulls on the strings of her past while very much launching her into something new.
